I Don't Want to Run Away is the fifth episode of the Children of the Whales anime.
Summary[]
Deep in the bowels of the Mud Whale, Chakuro and friends discover the Nous that powers the ship. The elders attempt to kill it, but Lykos and Chakuro manage to stop them. Neri, who calls the Nous "Mother", disappears into it. Meanwhile, Ouni and Shuan's fight concludes, with Shuan's eye being revealed. Suou is then released from his prison and readies himself as the new chieftain of the ship. Lykos reveals to them more about the world. Suou then speaks to prepare the inhabitants of the Mud Whale for the attack in four days' time.
